World Book Day 2023
“Every night my son and I read a book before bed – it is one of the highlights of our day and a time to reconnect and relax with no interruptions.” (Megan Marais – Southwood Financial Planning)
“I love reading to Madison and hearing her perspective on the book and the adventures that the characters are taking part in.” (Tarryn Kahn – Southwood Financial Planning)
In celebration of World Book Day yesterday, 23rd of April, we would like to share the attached two books published by Foord in their picture book series about saving and investing for young children. Teaching our children about saving and investing from a young age is invaluable in setting them up for future success.
“Foord is passionate about teaching children (and their parents) the importance of investing for the long term. And what better way to do it than with a book that can be read repeatedly. It is the perfect platform for parents and teachers to start the conversation about investing and, more importantly, to keep having that conversation.
More than enough (https://online.fliphtml5.com/zuciw/pgjs/) and Little by little (https://online.fliphtml5.com/zuciw/ajyk/) are the first of a planned series of beautiful picture books to teach children the basic concepts of investing. They form part of Foord’s financial literacy initiative TEACH YOUR CHILD TO INVEST.”
Please find the direct link below which allows you to download the books as well as “listen and read along”.
