“Do it later” is what caught my eye in the article linked to below, “Yes, you can retire at 40”.
“Retirement” should not necessarily mean the end of your income generating years. Given medical technology, we will all be living longer and so we should be looking to do something post-retirement that we enjoy, that is flexible and that has a slower pace.
Another benefit of doing this is that it slows and reduces the drawdown from your retirement capital allowing the power of compounding to still work for you through your golden years.
